Our Hips and our Heart share a deep connection. The hips are the vessel for all our emotions, and the Heart holds the Source of Love and Compassion. By releasing tension in our hips, we can feel more grounded and supported, allowing a deeper opening of our Heart.
Today, we'll explore mindful movements to gently open the hips and the Heart and foster emotional release. ​​

The S.Y.M practice emphasizes on moving mindfully, sensing the internal effects of each pose, each movement versus wanting to achieve a perfect pose. The key is to understand how you move and where you hold your tension, where energy is stuck. This class is a space for you to feel, then consciously decide and choose what works for you.
The final relaxation is an essential moment to integrate with guided meditation and/or soothing music and sounds.
